Hi!!

My nickname is Sunshine! Mommy likes to call me that, because  I am so cheerful. She also says I am beautiful and Daddy and my sisters agree.

I am four years old, almost five, and I love dolls and frilly dresses! My favorite color is purple. Daddy bought me purple sheets for my bed because I love purple so much!!

I love to dance and pose for the camera, and someday I want to be a cheerleader! Mommy says I can take ballet this fall.

I love to play with my sisters and I have a great imagination! We have lots of fun together!

Because of the surgery I had before I was born, I can walk, run, dance and climb! I am a MIRACLE!

I love my family! I love to sing Praises to God when I play or ride in the car. Jesus is in my heart and that makes me very happy.

I am now 5 years old! Mommy and Daddy took us all to the beach for my birthday! We had lots of fun!  I like to jump waves and see starfish, but I love to dig in the sand!

For a month I was a "twin" to my sister Butterfly. We were both 5, but now she is  6 and I am the only one 5 years old.  I like being five.

I had a CT scan [Mommy said it was a base line so they would know how good my shunt is doing]. The people at MCG were very nice. I was brave. I was very still and didn't need any needles [IV] to get my picture taken. I was so good I got a Barbie Doll!

We didn't get  to go to see Dr Tulipan and Dr Bruner this renunion.  Mommy's Granny was sick and needed Mommy.

We start school soon! I am excited! Mommy has already been getting papers for me to do and books for me to use!  I have my own desk, too!

This Month I have done many wonderful things!

I went skating and horseback riding!

I learned to ride a tricycle forward!

I jumped for the first time!

I "duck walked" for the first time!

I wore curlers for the first time! 

PolarBear (usually typed PB) is 13. A few years ago she and her sister, Kitty, [Kitty LOVES cats...LOVES them!] were playing outside and saw MaMa Cat go under the fence where my Uncle's pool is. Well, Kitty urged PB to go save her because MaMa Cat was preggers, as usual, and Kitty was convinced that she would fall in the pool....Well, MaMa Cat did not fall in the pool...but PB did! She broke the ice on top of the pool going in! By the time PB could get out and to my Granny's(we all lived on the same acre of land) her clothes were frozen. As GrandMa changed PB's clothes and get her outside warm, Mom made soup to warm her insides and went online to ask for prayer that she didn't get sick. PB has more than one heart problem and at the time was weaker physically then she is now. One of Mom's friends online said that she should be a part of the PolarBear Club, even though her unscheduled swim was Dec 31st, not January 1st. Well, the name PolarBear stuck and she has been PB online every since. Her heart problems are MVP (mitro valve prolaps, meaning one of the valves doesn't close all the way and blood can backup and cause pain.  She is lucky; it could be worse. It is possible, but rare for people with MVP to have the blood back up to the point their heart explodes. Most women have MVP but are unaware of it because most have it mild and don't feel anything wrong. PB's is not bad, but she notices pain in her chest.  She also has atopic atrial tachycardia (which means her heart fires the electricity to make it pump too fast sometimes). This causes panic attacks from the adrenillian. There is something else going on with her heart, but they can't figure out what. She was on a strong dose of digoxin from the time she was 6 until she was dangerously underweight at age 11. In fact she wore the same size clothes from the age 5 until the age 11. But when they took her off digoxin she started gaining weight.  Not taking the meds made her heart some, but was dealing with the pains fine most of the time. She is at her normal weight now but the pains were bad in January/February this year and was put on Inderal LA, which doesn't have as many side effects. Digoxin is not recommended for children anymore.

Like I said, Kitty LOVES cats....Kitty is 11. She would help them take over the world! She wants to make enough money when she grows up to own a tiger.... YIKES! Yeah, right! Not if Mommy is gonna visit her! LOL  When she was a infant, she didn't cry exactly...it sounded more like the Meow of a kitten! Later when she was talking her favorite word was Meow! LOL Her scrapbook features Tigers and Cats... And our Dog that MaMa Cat "raised", so he thinks he is at least part cat. LOL Kitty has had Rumatoid Arthritis, but once Mom made sure she didn't get any aspartame or saccharine, the RA went away.  That part was hard cause it is hid in a lot of stuff like vitimins and toothpaste, even in things that already has sugar. Sometimes she has flashbacks(meaning her hands and legs don't work well and she ache bad) but the latest test shows the RA is gone. She also has mild adhd/anxiety & asthma.

Butterfly is 5. She is very beautiful!! She ahs super long hair! When Mom met Butterfly she she was so excited she just flittered around from one thing to another. Mom knew that day she would call her Butterfly. Butterfly has RAD. RAD is Reactive Attachment Disorder. Butterfly likes to watch the food network with Mommy. She likes to help Mommy cook and clean.  Buterfly gave 12 to 13 inches of hair to Locks of Love.  She likes her short hair now...maybe even more than she did her long hair. Butterfly and I share a room so we can play together a lot!

My dog is sweet. He is a Pomarainan Poodle.  He is very smart. He loves me.
