A note from Mommy:
We got full, sole cutody of Sunshine when she was 4 years old. I will not go into any great details here about Sunshine's condition when she moved in with us, but from all indications, she had been abused and neglected.
She was very weak and fearful. She was underfed and could barely walk 5 feet. She didn't know but 3 letters and one number. She did not know what "pretty" or "beautiful" ment. There are more disturbing things about her condition and mental state, but that will not be addressed here.
She is now stronger and happy!
She is learning by leaps and bounds!
Everything she does, from playing to schoolwork, is a huge accomplishment!
